A program was held at Artova Vocational School for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd. The event, held at 1:00 PM in the Şehit Eren Bülbül Conference Hall, was attended by Artova Mayor Ali Güner, Artova Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Coşkun, civil society organizations, academic staff, and students.
The program began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. Instructor Bünyamin Akyol delivered a speech on the meaning and importance of the day, emphasizing the place and importance of individuals with disabilities in society and raising awareness. Artova Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Coşkun emphasized that obstacles can be overcome together and the importance of social awareness and solidarity in this regard.
The event included a theater play titled "Kısmet's Bus Journey," a presentation about exemplary individuals, and a banner display prepared by team members. The choir also performed the song "Let's Overcome All Obstacles Together."
